PDF mail merge: one PDF per spreadsheet row
Mail merge is not only about letters: certificates, badges, labels, tickets and forms follow the same pattern. PDF Rafale handles all of them with one principle.
How it works
A template (PDF, image or blank page) holds the fixed part. A data source (Excel, CSV, copy-paste) provides the values. Variables such as {{Name}} placed on the template are replaced row by row. The result: one PDF per row, a single PDF, or a print sheet.
Why not Word?
Word’s mail merge targets printing or email. Getting a separate, properly named PDF per recipient requires macros or manual work. Typical online tools upload your data to their servers and charge a subscription. PDF Rafale does the job in the browser, with a one-time license for large batches.
Variables and filters
{{Column}}: the column value, case and accent insensitive.{{#}}: row number;{{#|pad:3}}gives 001, 002…|upper,|lower,|title: letter case.|date:long,|date:MM/DD/YYYY: dates.|num:2: numbers with two decimals.|default:text: fallback when the cell is empty.

Is Google Sheets supported?
Yes: select the cells in Google Sheets, copy, then use “Paste data” in the app. Or download the sheet as CSV.
